One of the tools I have been playing around with lately is Flythrough (turns out it will be sunset pretty soon). Essentially it makes it look like a drone is flying through the space you’re recording with your phone.
It’s not perfect but it’s pretty darn good.
Realtors can use it showcase spaces and as a small business I wanted to showcase the studio to potential customers.
It takes roughly 45 minutes for the video to upload with the neural networks.
I imagine with the rapid speed that AI is advancing we will all be able to create such videos (even higher quality) by just using ChatGPT, Grok etc.
Anyways I uploaded it to Vimeo today and then told Replit to embed it on my site.
On a side note, I’m writing this post from a Tesla service center. Getting my snow tires swapped out. The sun is shining and it’s nearly 70 degrees in Buffalo, NY.
I bought my Tesla during the pandemic and it’s honestly the most fun I’ve ever had driving.
Since then things have um…shifted in the world. I’ve gotten flicked off a couple times. One pretty aggressively by a guy in a Benz and another very casual bird in a jeep.
The first time it happened it was a little jarring. The second time I just felt a little sad that this is the state of our country.
I don’t think I’d ever not own an EV at this point and until BYD comes to America I probably wouldn’t purchase anything but Tesla.
Not because i’m some Elon fanboy or agree with his politics. Simply because it’s a great car.
