You never know who you might be inspired by your actions. Six plus years ago I decided to drop alcohol and get sober. I usually post about it every year (January 1st) as a reminder to myself and others that it’s possible.
When I made the decision to get sober I never thought much about the impact it could have on other people in my network.
We are all connected so it should come as no surprise that we all have the same struggles, feelings etc as we move through life.

Last night, a high school classmate reminded me that I had shared some tools about my journey a few months ago with them. It turns out she took them to heart—she mentioned that she hasn’t had a drink since. Pretty cool.
I know of a couple of stories like this, and there are probably more that I haven’t heard yet.
Our vulnerability is what makes us human—it connects us to one another. Sharing our stories, whether big or small, matters. You never know who you may be inspiring.
Keep Going.
